Union Station Washroom

This is my story.
It happened on Sunday June 28th, 2010 at approximately 5:30 pm.
I was in the Union Station washroom (the one that is right opposite the east end doors leading to Bay St.) where I saw 3-4 police officers washing their hands.
When I left the washroom I was detained and questioned by these same police officers.
The officer detaining me P.C. P. Sharp, said he detained me based on the surveillance equipment he saw on me. I had a helmet camera which I was wearing around my neck, but which, at the entrance to the washroom I had switched off and turned to face me. I let the officer know of the fact that the camera was off. After checking all my belongings they refused to let me go as a friend I was with was still in the washroom using the facilities. They made me wait until my friend came out of the washroom, than proceeded to interigate us as to what we were doing, where we were heading as well as collect other personal information such as eye color, hair color, height, etc. They made my friend go through all the photos on his digital camera and show the photos to them. They asked me to do the same, but as I had a helmet camera, which had no display screen I was unable to show them the videos/photos that I took. In total they prevented me from leaving the area outside the washroom for a total of 30-45 minutes while they filled out what they told us was a 208 form. P.C. P. Sharp also called in to what I image was headquarters to run a background check on both my friend and I, after which point he interigated us as to whether we have ever had to deal with the police before. Even though we told the officers that we had been illegaly searched 4 times prior to this detention, they did not allow us to leave, but continued with the interigation. The officers used an intimidating and threatening manner in which they cornered us by the washroom.
May I note, that the washroom facilities in Union station that I was using are not in the zone covered under the Public Works Protection Act O. Reg. 233/10.
